Its not wise to try lemons as a skin lightner how ever some people use it as a hair lighner but only works if you use it while out in the sun so if you tried using it on your skin the acids might cause more damage than anything. Same as on hair.

Lemons lighten your hair. Mix lemon juice with water and spray on your hair. Sit in the sun and your hair will be lighter.

lemons are not a lightener for skin. It can however be used as an astringent. the acids in the juice absorbs the oils on your skin.

I have heard lemon juice can lighten your hair, but it cant lighten your skin, however, sun will darken it . better luck going with the sun

They are supposed to be used on rough spots like your ankles, knees and elbows. Its not an all over skin lightener. You will need a cream like Jolene for that.

lemon juice lightens HAIR, not SKIN... you could put lemon juice on your skin and it would do nothing other than make you smell lemony fresh.

It does work, but it takes about a hundred years. Works a lot faster if you add Clorox like I did once as a kid to get rid of freckles. Freckles vanished, to be replaced by third-degree chemical burns. I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THIS!
