Someone in this world will find you pretty (can't see you so can not answer that) so everyone has a chance as a model. If you do want to be:
Firstly do not go to a modeling agency without a portfolio as they will want you to get one and these can be very expensive, you best bet is to get a friend to take a lot of photos of you with a digital camera (in different clothes and backgrounds) and then select a 10-20 really nice photos and create a digital portfolio which you can put this on line and just have business cards with the link on, a lot cheaper than having them printed. If you would like a portfolio site please contact me and I will set you on up for free.
examples of work can be provided on request. just message me here if you want, i am a professional website designer but have lots of free time (and enough money) so i am currently doing free sites for small bands, small artist etc, basically anyone who could not afford them otherwise.

Of course! I don't think everyone wants every model to be the spitting image of the next!
You're the perfect height!
Remember, some actors aren't very tall (Tom Cruise and many others) and actresses that are too tall can't work with them - probably the same with some models! To model with other good looking people of similar height. Good luck!

Yes, there is hope. But do not be disappointed if you don't get accepted. Not everyone get what they want. It's really up to the people who wants who to be a model. Have you ever done any small local modeling at all. Experiences may also help your chance of becoming a professional one.

Not a runway model, well maybe, but look at some modeling sights. For the most part height dosent matter much as long as your well proportioned, fit, and have nice skin.

I think there is hope for you. And hey remember about the pretty situation. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You can't always go by looks because all models are certainly not beautiful or shall i say pretty to everyone. I would say GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!

Tall definitely is better, but now you can model for Snap-on tools and Harley bikes.
Short women are probably getting the shorter end of the stick.

I think you answered that yourself...huh?
You can be a model, as far as your height...but we don't know what you look like, and so, can't determine that. Get some professionally done head shots and find a modeling agency! Good luck, and make sure to be aware of scammers!

The odds of becoming a fashion model at all are slim to none. Ford and the other big agencies won't even see if you're under 5'9".

the modeling buisness is a pathetic buisness, be carefull with you choice here cos it may leed to missery. models have no benifit to the human race, zoolander is one of the best films ever. if you choose this path in life do so for financial reasons and not to boost your ego. once the modeling buisnes has finnished with you it will spit you out.
