I am 32 and I want to concieve a second child before I get too old and before my 15 year old gets older and out of the house. My husband and I have tried for so long now with no luck. I read about Vitex and its many "powers" and I bought some but does it really work?

Vitex/Chasteberry is mostly used to help regulate cycles and ease pms symptoms. No product will have the same effect on every woman. However if your cycles are irregular...it's a good choice for you.

It is in NO way a form of clomid. They are two entirely different things.

Vitex is an herbal form of the ovulation drug Clomid. It does work, but just be careful using it. You don't want to take too much or you'll get cysts instead of eggs! And if you are taking clomid, don't take the Vitex - they cancel each other out.

I have heard of chaste berry, but I don't know enough about it to advise you on it's use. Good luck!
