What is the best thing about being a member of yahoo Answers?

1) Getting voted as having the best answer
2) Seeing just how dumb (and occasionally, how clever) people can actually be.
3) Asking questions can be fun too; you can get a lot of good advice for absolutely free!
4) You feel smart for answering questions that may have a profound impact on others (hey, you never know)
5) All the fun of chatting and interacting with people without ever feeling too awkward about it
Those are just a few reasons. It was obviously good enough for your girlfriend to insist on telling you about it. She hasn't steered you wrong.

Having the chance to help someone out that might not otherwise get any help. Sometimes somebody can't find an answer in the usual way, or they are just too lazy to go to a search engine. This is just a nicer way of helping people out.
When you can weed out the people that are just treating this place like a forum.
