a while later it changes his name to Mario Lopez. Why?

in the opening credits they show all their names with their pics. when slater comes up it says his name is franco e. bario. i know that there is producer on the show by that name, thats why it confused me so much. maybe its the same person? maybe he acts and produces? idk. whateva

I think you might have seen it wrong, actually, or it was a technical glitch. I believe Franco E Bario was a director or producer or creator...but not Mario Lopez. Watch any episode (new or old) and check the credits--you should see that name somewhere, but not under Mario Lopez's picture. Or do a search online, and you'll probably see some of his other credits to clear up what he really does.

Mario Lopez was not on the early seasons of Saved by the Bell and neither was Tiffany Amber Theison

Franco E. Bario is the producer. His name just happens to come on while Slater's picture is up.

they probably changed it to make it sound better most celebrities do change their name to make it more memrable.
