I don't personally know anyone, but I know that people do make a living on eBay. You have to have a lot of paitence, have A LOT of time on your hands, and know the market. If you want to become an eBay-er, you should try searching for products that will get a lot of profit, and then find a place to buy products like that in bulk or wholesale. Then you can resell those items. You'll probably need an eBay store if you want to make it big time.

I have done some selling on ebay and have studied the possibility of setting up some kind of business. If you have access to a product that no other people can get and have only to pay a cheap price you could make a living. Most seller are buying the products at wholesale prices and competing tooth and nail to get sales. Many fail or find they have to resort to trickery involving shipping charges to make a buck. The selling on ebay unless you can access product cheaply and easily you could expect to earn $200 a month is you can find a saleable product. It is a tough business.

My in-laws think they do. They buy a box of crap for $50 and sell it for $100. But after the time and effort, I don't think they really make anything!!!!
They are bored!! And a little crazy, and I guess that helps!!!

yes, read a few news papers and read a few magazines to find out who and how much they say they earned.
