McGregor attended Kirkcaldy College in 1988 to study drama, appearing in the Tron Theatre in Glasgow , it was at school that he first began practicing his musical stylings, and although it has been said that he has vary limited range, personally I think he rocked and can hardly believe I never knew this aspect of him until Moulin Rouge, because I am a huge Ewan (pronounced YOU-in), fan,...can ya tell???
In short, yes that is his voice, and the voice of an angel he has, that is if you believe in that kind of stuff.
