That would be nice...but I am not going to expect it.

Stranger things have happened (the red sox beating the yankees after being down 3 games to none in 2004 comes to mind).

Even if they play .500 ball the rest of the season that would put them at 94 wins....which could very well be a wild card.

Whatever happens I am simply enjoying this.

They are long overdue.

Barring injuries, I see no reason why they should not. They have a great manager and a very talented team. It would really be good for baseball to see the Tigers win it all, although My heart would be broken because I am a Red Sox fan.

NO cuz the chisox are right behind them. The chisox have a much better offense and some decent pitching.I think the tigers will stay consistent but they will end up being 2nd in the division and be the wild card winner. But we don't know how long thome will last so u never know.

It will be difficult, but they definitely have a shot at it. If I had to guess, I would say no to the best record, but a definite yes to the playoffs! All they have to do is play .500 ball from here on out and they will win 94 games.

No,

that spot is reserved for the white sox.

The Tigers are just keeping it warm for them.

I mean, no one likes a cold ham sandwhich right?

same thing here.

It would be great to see the Tigers go all the way, however, I really don't think they have enough power to keep Chicago from passing them.

They believe in themselves. This key ingredient in unselfishness. If they keep playing like a team and stay away from key injuries they can win it all.

it will be hard.
the AL is so tough. WS, RS, Yankees. plus the A's, texas, Indians.

I would put a bet on the mets. the NL is so easy. it will be a cake walk in the NL.
