He looks to have been born with only 1 eye, as it is completely grown over with scales. I want to put another similar or smaller sized goldfish in the bowl with him, but am afraid that another goldfish would pick on him. Has anybody had any experience with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Unless your one-eyed fish is a push-over, he should be just fine with other goldfish. They are ''community'' fish for a reason, they aren't known for aggression.

Unless your bowl is 20 gallons then no you cant put anything in there with him. Goldfish need 10 gallons minimum per fancy fish and need a filter that filters the water at least 10x a hour.

If he didn't just recently lose it, he'll be okay in the tank. Other fish will pick on a fish that has a recent wound with loose skin and blood on him. But this one seems to have been born that way, so it shouldn't be a problem.

i would not think that the other goldfish would bother another gold fish at all goldfish are not suppose to be aggressive. beside that why dont you try it and see what happens..
