Yes. i think promises are like wishes and the thought counts for something but sometimes they don't come true. I was promised we'd take a holiday but that never happened. Paris was where we were gonna go, he went to Mexico with someone else. Promises are tricky sometimes they are like a pacifier only a substitute to keep you from crying and sometimes they are reminders of our dreams and indicate what we wish we could give others even though its beyond our means. Like when your mom gets you the wrong dress at Christmas sometimes you wanna go yuck, but sometimes you go at least she tried and you love the dress better then if it had been that really cute one from Macys. As long as the promise not being kept doesn't disrespect or put you in danger(ie. cheating) be understanding lots of stuff happens

I had a boyfriend who promised to buy me a pair of paints after I delievered 500 flyers for him. I delievered the flyers and never got the pants. So I got nothing for 6 hours of work.
Don't stay with anyone who doesn't keep their promises.

Yes, I had one a while back, it turned out that everything out of her mouth was a lie, all she was after was money. So now I am going to have a tough time believing women.

yes, I am married..
The broken "promises" happen frequently..
you just get used to it..
its how life goes..
I just cry a bit and sometimes get angry, but eventually it passes..
Like my 10 yr wedding anniversary last Thursday, I got nothing..
