How IMPORTANT are first impressions?

WHY are they important if they are?

We are all gifted by a thing called intuition, it is our 6th sense, that some of us pay heed to religiously, you will find that if you listen to it, you will never go wrong. First impressions are what very important, not only are we using the look, see, evaluate, touch , smell parts of our senses, a sixth sense is also there, telling us weather to trust the person or not, weather to like or not. haven't you just been creeped out when you met someone? That is your sixth sense warning you..

not important at all. i think they surely have meaning. but they always end up being misinterpreted. give people more than 1 chance and never base your conception of them off of your first impression.\
