If you are in an unincorporated area Wait till the ground is wet.Dig 2 trenches completely!!! around them 20 feet apart. With a hose in hand burn the grass, needles, brush in between the 2 trenches. Have the fire department telephone number at hand on a WINDLESS!!! day start with the small limbs (early morning or late in the day. Pine burns hot and fairly fast (its the pitch) once the small "leaves"/branches are gone the trunks depending on size have to be cut up and split(hard to burn and can burn for days).are you sure you cant wait till it just rots.As far as how long before they can burn the answer is immediately. Its the stopping the burning that tricky so never leave it burning unattended. If you have to call the fire dept there will be a fine(here its $500)

Do you mean to burn them in your fireplace? Pine is not a real good choice. Because of all the resin, your chimney will need frequent cleaning. However, since you have all this wood now, oh well.... It's split and stacked, right? If not, split and stack it and wait at least a year for it to season.

If you mean just burn to get rid of it, do it now if it's legal in your county and you have a place you can do it safely.
