wet a washcloth and put it over the wax and iron it with a regular iron you use to iron clothes, it should come out.

You can first pull off the large pieces. Afterwards you can use a hot iron and a paper bag (the brown ones). Place the bag on the spot with the wax and place the hot iron on top for about 10 seconds. The paper should aborb the wax. Move the bag to a clean part and apply the iron again. Keep doing this until the wax is all gone. Place some stain remover on the spot and wash as usual. Note: if the wax is coloured, you may have a stain from the dye in the wax.

You get it out the same way you did before you spilled the wax on the pants. Just pull down the zipper!

Try a couple paper towels folded and a low heat iron. Put the towels over the wax and lightly rub the iron over the towel. the paper towel will soak up the melted wax. Works really good on carpet but it should work on pants too.

The last two people are right. First harden the wax using ice and crack off all of the pieces that you can. After that use a brown paper bag or an absorbent papertowel...something heavy duty not a cheap kind...and iron over the rest.

Freeze them, then try to crack the wax off. If there is still some left on, Put a paper towel over the spot and use a hot iron to lift the rest off.

Throw the pants away and buy new pants. You might get it out by boiling them or ironing them with a cloth but it will take a long time and you will probably still have wax residue.

Remove as much of the surface wax as possible. Place between two sheets of absorbent kitchen paper and press with warm iron, moving paper around so clean sections will absorb the wax. Any residual colour can be removed by dabbing with colourless methylated spirits before washing.

If you are talking candle wax, just put your pants in the freezer and let it harden and flake it off, if you have smeared it into your pants you will have to try the iron and wash rag trick already listed.

I spilled wax in my carpet three years ago and I've never been able to get it out. I've broken it up bit by bit but I've never been able to get rid of it all. Good luck on getting it out. I'll keep this question saved so someone may be able to help both of us!

put a piece of paper towel on it, and run a hot iron over it. The wax should transfer to the paper towel.
