i want to know why people wont just....you know, look it up on yahoo or something. why do people have to ask random people in this program?

A good many people dont even know what a search engine is for. I routinely run around the city to repair systems and find a great many people who have had them for years and still cant do anything with them but play solitaire! 2 thousand dollar sytems too! Some of my customers are mothers whose children have managed to infect their sytems with everything but a common cold! I try to explain some basics and they dont have a clue!

As one person here already said to get a daily laugh at some of the questions. I know that the person does want a serious answer and I respect that and I do love to have fun with questions too . I like it when people voice their funny answers too along with a attempted fix it makes my day go by a lot easier. and it is a lot more friendly on this site then the web search

Thank you - I look up their answers on a search engine. Most of the time I come on here to read, respond, and get a really good laugh. However, there are some serious questions regarding experiences and views that do deserve serious responses so I respect that - but thank you to all the funny people that make me laugh!

I answer questions in the home and garden section a lot and often the questions can not be found easily doing a search. I agree though that some of the questions are easy ones and could be found doing a search.

I think it is because sometimes they could not find the best answers there and sometimes they are just plain lazy
