that is a cool question I think It adds to the mystery they like to keep you guessing on how he's going to die much like the Wild E. coyote keep you wondering how is going to hurt himself this time.

Because it's funny. If all cartoons were created to have things effect each show, it wouldn't last. Like in The Simpson's, Homer has changed, lost weight and such, but is always the same in the next episode. South Park just wouldn't be South Park if Kenny stayed dead :P.

Did no-one see the episode that explains this?
In one episode, kenny's mom becomes pregnant, and Kenny tries to kill the baby, but dies in the process, when she does give birth to the child, it's Kenny again! Then they mention it's like the 20th time this has happened and life goes on.
When he dies in the episode about stem cell research, that is supposedly the permanant death, and they use butters as their replacement Kenny.
Then, in one of the more recent seasons, he just reappears, and nobody says anything about it.
Then, Butter's starts his professor Chaos kick and the South Park world continues.

It started at the first episode ever aired of South Park, where they already killed off Kenny. However, considering the character's popularity, the creators made him stay and simply made him die and come back in each episode in order to set a pattern, you know, like a weird trademark.

you havent gotten to Southpar: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut yet. In the first Southparkfull length feature film , Kenny's death is a permanent one which has not been undone to date. Prior to that, it was just a running gag, rather funny. They always have the same clothes on, too, it's not ment to be realistic... have you seen the whore-off episode? Clearly not bound by the laws of nature on that show.

Kenny dies. Just not for good. Except on the episode "Kenny Dies." He dies of a muscular disease. If you need anymore questions answered, just ask me. I have been watching South Park since November 1998.

Haha...oh Kenny. Cause then it would suck. It would be one less South Park character. It's like Star Wars, dARTH vADER DYING BUT THEY WOULD KEEP ON WITH THE EPISODES WHAT FUN would that be?

After finishing the most recent season, it is reveled that every time he dies, his mother instantly goes into labor and has a new Kenny who is the same exact person as before and grows into the same age he was when he died. His mother puts him into his signature orange hoodie and when he wakes up remembers everything but non of his friends do.

Because Kenny is the Lord Jesus in disguise. He is always on the creators minds and he won't let them forget him so just when they start he picks up the pencil and starts to draw himself again. No, I suppose they have their reasons, though.
