When I was in highschool we made rings in welding class.
We made a ring of wax, then embellished it. We then set the wax ring in plaster. once the plaster dried, we cut it in half and heated it to melt out the remaining wax. we placed the molds back together, and drilled a hole, in which to pour heated silver. Our teacher smeltered the silver, and poured it in, the next day we broke the molds, pulled the rings out and filed off any imperfections. Some people had nice rings, some had globby funny attempts .

The first thing I would recommend is to find a very good image of the green lantern ring. Do you have a picture of one you like?
Once you have the picture, I would take the picture to a jeweler who designs jewelry in cad. Then the jeweler can create a 3d cad design for your approval. Once you agree on the design, then the jeweler will build a wax for the ring, then cast in metal (gold, silver or platinum).
By using cad jeweler you will be assured of the design BEFORE the ring is cast.
This is how we, www.titanium-jewelry.com, make jewelry, and it works for us.
