Female Anopheles mosquito is the vector for malarial parasitic disease Plasmodium which still kills MILLIONS every year in the tropics. Mosquitoes also transmit other diseases too, so I still think mosquito is THE MOST DANGEROUS-DEADLY.
the sea wasp jellyfish is quite deadly too; portuguese man of war has inflicted stings that have people drown, but not as deadly as sea wasp. But deaths due to this are real rare
brown reclus spider and black widow spider deaths are rare too, but they can be troublesome-deadly too.
In general parasites are not designed to kill the host, as that would interfere with the parasite's life, so while parasitic worms (tapeworm, flukes, roundworms, etc) create lots of misery and some deaths in the world, they are no where as near as deadly as the mosquito and the toll of malaria.
Viruses and bacteria are not ANIMALS, so they are not categorized as invertebrates.

Bees. Many people are allergic and 100 people die a year in the US. Well, bees are the most dangerous invertebrate to people living in the US such as myself, but as the other person mention mosquitoes do kill a million or more people a year from malaria world-wide. Not so much around here though.

Viruses and bacteria are invertibrates. AIDS, TB and malaria each kill MILLIONS of people every year. If you are thinking of big animals, many invertebrates have evolved effective defenses, making them dangerous. Scorpions, cones and some jellyfishes can deliver a severe sting, while some spiders ( Umm, black widow spiders leap to mind...) and even octopuses can bite, if harassed. Mosquitoes and certain snails may carry parasites causing malaria, sleeping sickness, schistosomiasis and hookworm disease.

I'd say box jellyfish, found on the north east coast of australia, will kill you in about half an hour. I think mosquitos don't really count because it's not a mosquito killing you, it's the virus they carry.
