Seems to be a strange way of placing a team.Rooney as the only striker up their sometimes in a wilderness,nobody to pass the ball to.A system that breeds defensive play,so boring to watch.But that is Sven always experimenting,but this time its the real thing.

If you don't realize it yet, England has some of the best midfielders in the game. David Beckham is incredible with set plays, crosses and free kicks. Lampard is the top scorer from Chelsey Football club, the current EPL Champs, Gerrard is the Team Captain and top scorer for Liverpool FC, last year's Champion's League titleholders, and this year's FA Cup titleholders. All three of these guys are scorers from outside the penalty area, that's why the other teams are loading the front of their penalty area with their defenders to keep the English from scoring. You don't need to be a striker to score. Even John Terry scores every once in a while, and he's a defender. So what makes me excited about the England team? The rush I get when the midfielders score a goal! GO ENGLAND!!

He should of kept 4 - 4 - 2 and kept Crouch up with Rooney. Why did he take Walcott?!
