If you mean that you want to move it 5 more feet away & you have a piece of cable that long +the cable that it's already attached to then you will need a attachment called a connector.It will attach to each end of the cables & extend your original cable to however long the piece is your attaching to it.
If you mean that you want to attach another pc to the moden then you'll need a router.
