When you care about something, your interest is from a mental aspect. When you love something, your interest is from an emotional aspect. You can care about a person and not love them, but if you love a person, you care about that person too.

to me it's a world of difference, caring is alot like love, and has alot of the same feelings, but love is when u know u would walk throught hell and not blink an eye. Careing about someone is when u dont want to c them hurting, but wouldn't go as far as walking through hell for em.

Care is similar, and some times the same thing. But care has many uses, such as take care of.
