zillow.com lets you type in an address (or just your street and town) and will search a database of recent sales to estimate the current value. I tried it on my house and it was pretty accurate, based on the tracking of local sales I've been doing.

It will even show you a satellite photo of the neighborhood with estimates of the values of OTHER houses nearby.

not sure i think that most sites that offer that type of stuff require you to be a member or pay money. just grab one of those books at the grocery store. theyre free
