Yes, go for it. My suggestion is to think about where you want to go first and see if you can get a work visa there. Then when it is time to move on then research the next location. Another option....look at teaching ESL in other countries. I stayed in a job that I was unhappy with for far too long. You get to the point where the safety, security and the money seems to take precedence. Then one day it hits you that it is more important to be happy that to just have financial security doing something that is not contributing to any happiness. Just do it...BUT do a little planning. :-)

Well, you need money to travel the world. Taking a loan out isn't a good idea. Save, have some job security and then travel.

What happens when you get back? Find another job to pay off debt from a years worth of travel? If you enjoy travel, but hate your present job, find a new one that allows you to travel. If you need more education to qualify, that would be the first step. Travel agent, sales rep, etc.

If you have the resources to do it-sure go to it. Do it before you settle into a job that you will not be able to later on. Also when you are traveling, it may open your eyes to other possible job openings even abroad. Experience is the best educator! Have a nice trip and be safe!
