while chatting my scrren name does not appear my real name does how do i change that on yahoo messenger.

just, go to options, and profile...
update it, and that's it..

your answer is in preferences where it saids in one of the settings that you can either use your real name or yahoo ID I am sorry I can not tell you more in depth I had the newest yahoo but I did not like it so I went back the the one under what you have. that is why I know your question I had that question to myself and solved it in 5 minutes looking around in the setting
