My exhusband 3 yrs ago tryed to kill me by stabbing me with a knife. Luckly I grabbed the blade and not the handle so he couldn't stabb me but my hand had to have alot of stitches. He is a alcoholic and we were married 10 yrs and he was always very controlling and possesive of me.

yes he probably will if he tried to kill you. Restraining orders don't always work. The best thing to do is to move away from where he is and have nothing to do with his family or friends.

I would talk to an attorney, the police. Make it impossible to come into your area in which you live. No communication with you, no following or stalking you,
no means of anything connected with you. You must live by the rules as well. Never talk with him. Always have a cell phone with you in case you need to call the police. Never associate with his friends..this starts the he said..you said garbage,You do not want to get wrapped up in that. .Go to church talk with your pastor, the church and pastor will be of great support for you. Sure hope this helped some.

Yes he is going to try and find you he has low self esteem and by doing you wrong mad him feel better. If he knows where you are then its time to move and take the others advise and get some protection don't let him come back and pick up where he left off.

You need to talk to the police before he gets out so you can relocate and possibly get into a victim/witness protection program. Don't wait until November to do it though.

You should probably consider moving to a different area. If you dont have the resources any local domestic violence shelter in your area would have a program that helps victims relocate, and get started on a new life....Good Luck.
