when i go to my icon that says America Online, it doesn't have my ID in the sign in box (that says guest and all that stuff) is there something i need to do??

do you have a box that says to remember your id of not go into settings to see if you can do it that way

When you type in your screen name and your password, check the box that says, " Remember me"

it osunds like you have never signed in after a new install yet, sign in as existing member, and put in your username and password when prompted

yes..log out and log in with your account, and tick in "Remember me"
