I have a boyfriend that is 15 and I am 17. He will be 16 in about a month. Well, anyways everyone is cool with him dating me. His brothers, sister, dad, uncle, and aunt. But his mom does not like us together because she is uncomfortable with the fact that our age is different. We really like each other, and we have so much and common. He treats me like a queen, and that's what I've been looking for. I do not want things messed up because of his mom. I tried to have my mom speak to her about the situation, but that did not work out. His mom will not click for anything. I wish things will change and his mom will change her mind about us, because once she heard my age she has not made time to even meet me. I know she will like me once she knows me. What should I do?

Just carry on as usual. If things get serious as you get older and end up wanting to get married or something, that will be the time for his mom to get over it (besides, if you are getting married, you should be in your twenties and the age difference will seem smaller). I wouldn't worry about a thing, now. Let his dad deal with his mom if she needs to be dealt with.

You are young... that is why she doesn't like it. She may be concerned that you are sexually active and maybe she doesn't want to be a grandmother/ mother to the baby. She wants her son to have the chance to be a kid before getting into adult situations. I know you're probably thinking...I'm not a baby and I'm old enough to make my own decisions....yada yada yada. The truth is, you should be very careful to make strong decisions because a screw up now could greatly impact the rest of your life in a way you might resent when you get older. Take your time and don't worry about boyfriends. Focus on school and becoming a well rounded person. There will be plenty of time to have boyfriends when you get to college and after. Wasting time worrying about his mom now is exactly that..... a waste of time.

His mom is retarded it's not like your 25 and he's 15. It's not even a full 2 year age difference. Let me just tell you from experience that moms are very protective of their little boys. My boyfriends mom didn't like me for the longest. She can see how much he cares about you and she is jealous. Moms like to be the leading lady in their sons lives for as long as possible. You just make her feel threatened and she feels like she is loosing her little boy. Dads are the same way with their little girls. Try to take it as a compliment cause you know that this guy really likes you if he didn't care about you and wasn't into you then she would probably love you. Once she realizes that she can't push you away she will come around or at least act like she likes you. Sometimes I think that the only reason my boyfriends mom likes or at least acts like she likes me is because we have a baby. So just keep on smiling in her face and being respectful towards her(sounds so fake i know) and don't give her anymore of a reason not to like you cause she will try to pick you apart like a piece of string cheese. You don't need her to like you as long as her son does than f*** her just don't let her know you feel that way about her. Moms are bitches and thats just how it is.
