Mine has the same problem, except instead of going back home, mine just closes out the window.
it gets very annoying, but I got used to it.
however if you download IE 7: http://www.Microsoft.com/ie
it fixes the problem.

Try running Windows Update to find fixes. If that still does not fix the problem, then try reinstalling Internet Explorer by Uninstalling Internet Explorer and Installing Internet Explorer. To Uninstall Internet Explorer, Press Start>Set Program Access and Defaults>Add/Remove Windows Components>Internet Explorer (check the box next to it)>Next. Then Restart your computer. its 100% better then internet explorer! it does the same things and has alot of great features like, tabbing and theme changing!
just download this explorer and u'll never ever use internet explorer again! if u get the send message right whenu open internet explorer, then dont click on anything just go to the following website and download it!!
