I was just curious on how to find out what programs have been installed on my computer while using command prompt.

I was just curious on how to find out what programs have been installed on my computer while using command prompt. Including hidden files

Most programs are in your program files directory.

Just type cd c:\program*

and then hit enter. Then type dir/w to see the programs all in one screen or type dir/p so that you can see them one page at a time.

* DOS will show you hidden files.

you can't
use control panel and add&remove programs(GUI interace)
