I saw a grass on TV I'd love in my backyard. It's very lush and green, each "clump" being about 8" long or so, and it "falls over" in differing directions, and it isn't supposed to be mowed. They said it was very soft to walk on, easy maintenance, but I can't find the name of it anywhere.
Can anyone help?

I think you're referring to "Zoysia" grass.....which is a beautiful grass... as you mentioned. Zoysia is a warm-season perennial grass that spreads by rhizomes and it is established via plugs or sprigs. It's a warm-season grass and turns brown after the first fall frost and remains brown until spring.
