Try to put a bunch of hamsters in a cage together, and see what happens, they eat each other.

I think stress is an important factor. These people have been displaced from their homes. It has to be very tough to move to a new state and have to rely on others for assistance. Plus, I don't think everyone has made them feel welcome, some have, but not all. That has to be hard on the psyche.

I live here and can testify that it did increase, especially homicides. I wish they would go home already! But, why would they leave when the city keeps giving them free rent?

I think it was to be expected since it was the lower class type of people........most are from the bad bad projects, known as the 9th ward..............

it's sad really....i know violence in the raleigh area rose because of them too.....
