Original definition:
StickyKeys is an accessibility feature designed for people who have difficulty holding down two or more keys at a time. When a shortcut requires a key combination such as CTRL+P, StickyKeys will enable you to press one key at a time instead of pressing them simultaneously. This procedure tells you how to turn on StickyKeys through Accessibility Options in Control Panel.

The way I use it:
Its to warn you that you are pressing a certain key too many times or too long. Sometimes a key gets stuck and when that happens, the computer warns you so that you can fix it.

Sorry, but not many handicaps will use sticky key as an option unless they have previous learning experience with it from schools. It would just annoy them if they dont know how to use it. There are many reasons why people would use the sticky key feature, but for me, I like to use it so that when my keys get stuck, it warns me.

When you press ctrl+alt+del at the same time you can end programs, restart, etc. With sticky keys on the keys "stick" so that you can just press them one at a time.

Sean is wrong ( I hope he's kidding, if he claims to be an It guy)

It's for handicap accessibility, so you can type with one finger.
