Well as a Southerner, I have no idea what Northerners think of the South. Southerners think of Northerners as more aggressive, not as easy-going, generally more well-to do.. those that move to the south are sometimes called carpetbaggers.. though these days that's just used to tease. There's no real animosity or anything. Those feelings, along with state's rights and the rest of it has been washed away by 150 years of a concerted effort by the US to eradicate Southern identity. But that's a different topic... from personal experience I think it's *generally* true about the more easy-going way of life in the South, but of course there are exceptions. I just wish more Yankees liked sweet tea. When I forget and order it in a restaurant up North I always get a befuddled look.

Great movie. I've watched it 6 or 7 times in my life and love it each time. Of course, it's usually 8 or 10 yrs between viewings.
