Hi. in about a month i am going to be building a PC (Gaming) and am having a bit of trouble finding a board and CPUs that would suit me. I mainly have problems in knowiing if the board and CPUs are compadable. I say CPUs because i want to get a dual processor board with 2 CPUs that run at 600Mhz at the least. It also needs to have lots ov slots for say video/Graphics cards and RAM chips. I would like something like an AMD board so in future i will be able to buy better CPUs without needing to buy a new board.
So can someone point me in the right direction and even tell me where i could get them at a good price.
In total i have about 2,000 euro to spend on my whole pc. i would say with everything elso bought eg. case, hard drive ect i would have about 6-700.
So can anyone help me out?
I would be using it mainly for a bit of CAD, Macromedia studio, adobe photoshop and games like Unreal Tournament 2007.
Thanks

Take a look at http://www.NewEgg.com for awesome gaming motherboards. Pay close attention to the reviews that other buyers have left.
Good luck

If you are looking for for multi-processor capability on a budget, definitely check out any of the AMD Athlon64 X2's. They use the widely available socket 939 platform, and instead of buying two separate processors, the X2's come with two cores on one chip, so you get dual processor capabilities without worrying about two processors. You also get 64-bit capabilities to boot. PLUS the X2 3800+ sells for $297US on newegg.com. Then just find a socket 939 board that has all the connections you need and at most you'll spend $500US for CPU+Motherboard

you're putting at the same time an out of date device as suggested already. pass with an AMD (socket AM2) or an Intel. the twin center processors could be had for decrease than $a hundred. Socket AM2 will save you funds because of the fact it attracts much less potential for this reason saving your potential bill and it additionally makes use of DDR2 RAM that's greater fee-effective and speedier than DDR. Getting a board with AGP isn't a good concept, Gigabyte is a dazzling sort yet i think of you would be greater beneficial off looking a motherboard with integrated portraits per what you're doing. basically make particular the board has a PCI-exhibit slot for upgradability do you ought to alter your recommendations. A motherboard with an NVidia6100 will artwork basically as properly because of the fact the cardboard you're gazing. My recommendation in terms of fee is except you have already got an working device, you would be greater beneficial off procuring an entire premade device. i detect the wear and tear even fee of procuring for/development a working laptop or pc is around $650. something much less you could desire to purchase one, something greater you could desire to evaluate development. in case you have already got ability to an OS (Linux or pirated XP yet NO VISTA) then the fee would be extraordinarily on the brink of an identical the two way.

Try these links just make sure you match the CPU socket with the motherboard. I would suggest a 939 motherboard and a 939 CPU or the Newer AM2 CPU with an AM2 motherboard. If you have questions email these guys and they can help you.

GURU3D.COM for a lot of info, just look around.
Newegg.com for parts
XOXIDE.COM for CASES PSU
On the motherboard thing you need to do a little research. There are new chips coming out and you want to stay with the right path.

Look for articles or posts where people have already done it and tested it out. This helps a lot...
