Look up "Proactiv" on Google. There's a few oil-reducing products you can buy that Proactiv makes.

the best thing is those little oil absorbing sheets you get at the drug or makeup counters....if you have oily skin, you can't get rid of it, just control it a little...use a good cleanser for oily skin, find an oil free foundation and moisturizer, use an oil blotting powder, and don't be afraid to pay a little more for a good one as some are better absorbers than others...and really do try those little sheets, you just press them on your face and they absorb it all and don't bother the other makeup on your face and they are cheap..you can use a toilet seat liner in a pinch, like those you see in public restrooms, they are about the same thing!

Wash with a gentle cleasner - a "milk" type one, or Avalon Organics make a great lavender one.

Don't strip your skin of the oils by using Seabreeze. It sounds like a good idea, but it will just make your skin produce more - thinking it's dry.

Dont use a lot of makeup. And make sure you wash your face before going to bed! Sometimes washing before bed, then just rinsing in the AM shower will "calm down" overproductive oil!!

Drink Water!!!!!

Dont wash it more than once a day unless you get really sweaty or greasy, but then be sure to wash it at least once a day. I use Dove that glow formula in the gold bottle. But I change cleansers like 1 a month or every two months, because they stop working after a while for me.

I'm afraid you'll just have to get older. I know that's cold comfort, but oily skin improves as you age. Until then, try a light dusting of face powder to prevent the shine from hiding your true beauty.

i have oily skin too, and there isn't really a cure for oily skin, just things that you can do to keep your skin from looking worse. try using a oil-free foundation and only use oil-free lotions on your face. also, facial toner is a great way to clear the oil from your face without drying out your skin. :)

Believe it or not, make sure you are using enough moisturizer. The reason skin becomes oily is exactly the opposite of what you'd expect. Your glands over-produce oil when your skin is not moisturized enough.

well your skin is naturally oily so you wont completely get rid of it .
but things like sea-breeze will help . and then if you wear makeup get something for oily skin. wash your face day and night using the sea-breeze. you can also do some face masks for oily skin that's about all i can think of good luck.

Sorry, you don't. It's genetic. I"m 42 and my skin is still oily. I read somewhere that oily skin will produce less wrinkles when you get old. Not sure if that's true though.
