Hi I want to sail to bali ,starting in the suez canal ,thru red sea onto the maldives via sri lanka then onto bali.
Any relevent information would be gratefully recieved thanks.

Get Jimmy Cornells World cruising routes. It will tell you the best time to go but here it is any way:
Red Sea to Sri Lanka: May to June, October -Novemember.

that route has been sailed for 2,000 years, first by Arab traders in their dhows and then Europeans in their square rigged ships, using the seasonal monsoons to run off or down wind.
So there's your key for an Internet search.....look up southwest and northeast monsoons!
