Yes. It was incredibly unsportsmanlike and a player of Figo's experience, stature and position of captain should have known better.

He should be sent home from the tournament. Period.

The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has a very low tolerance for violent acts such as headbutting. Most likely, Figo will receive a rather large fine, and will get a sore rear end from the resulting suspension as well

FIFA would handle that! But I'm sure they would take the prevailing circumstances into account. He's a very respected player with alot of experience, I could only imagine that frustration he was mounting when it happened. And the match was not entirely fair to say the least!

Yes and he still might be, the FIFA review comittee, will sit today and sort it out, Personally i think it was irresponsible for someone as experienced like figo.

i agree with you here. Isnt he d captain? that was very foolish, he's a lucky son of a beach didnt earn himself a red card, but he sure get suspended + fine for sure after eveeryone watched the replay

Yes, and I think most of the players that took place on the Argentina - Netherlands game need to get some disapline... yellow card, yellow card, yellow card, yellow card...(Change it up) red card etc... what a red and yellow filled game...

He should have been sent off during the match for that despicable action. He is disgraceful and should be suspended for the next match... at least.

Yeah, he should be disciplined. It was a reckless and idiotic thing to do. As captain, he should have had more sense than to have done that. It was not sportsmanlike in the least.
