I will go with Tomlinson. He is multi-talented as both a runner and a receiver, and has even been known to throw a TD pass on occasion. Last fall, I trembled every time my fantasy opponent had him!!

Gotta go with Alexander, he's the most consistent of the three. Larry Johnson still needs a little time in the league and become a leader, and Tomlinson seems injury prone and also can't compete in high pressure situations.

I have to go with Tomlinson. He is the best pass catcher of the three, he's the fastest of the three, and he has shown that he can carry the Chargers on his back.
Alexander has his new fat contract, and the Seahawks have other weapons on offense, so while he'll still have a very good season, he won't match his '05 numbers.
Johnson is going to have to carry the Chiefs on his back - he's their only major offensive weapon (now that Tony Gonzalez is a stiff) so defenses will be keying on him. I don't see him approaching Tomlinson or Alexander-type numbers.

at the same time as Manning will be your first decision in case you've been a real stay "GM" for an NFL crew, in delusion the written rule is to draft a stud RB in the first round, and frequently first 2 rounds. you won't be able to bypass incorrect drafting a Larry Johnson, Shaun Alexander or LT at the same time with your first p.c... What you want to practice for isn't the first round besides the undeniable fact that the later rounds. those are the rounds that seperate the winners from the losers.

larry johnson of course. tie with alexander as best rusher in the league plus he catches the ball as well...something alexander doesn't do much of.
LT is good but he's definitely a notch below alexander and johnson. he may be quick but what matters most is yards per carry. does one of the "best" RB in the league get bottled up like he did last year? i like his 17 carries for 7 yards against philly. he averaged about 3.5 carries in 5 of the last 6 games of last season. and it's only going to get worse this year with teams putting more guys in the box...until phillip rivers proves you can throw.

Tomlinson is the best. But for fantasy football I think Johnson, though it's close.

In my opinion Shaun Alexander is the better of theses backs. I had the opportunity to work with a scout that watched him work out when he was drafted out of Alabama and when you look at his technique, work ethics, explosion at the point of attack and overall fundamental knack for the position he is better!! After all he has out rushed all of these other guys the last two years!! and he earned every yard of it!!!
