you may have a sensitivity to the detergent that you are using. Next time you are doing laundry, try less of your regular type, or a hypoallergenic brand. If the itchiness is due to dryness, try a regular hand lotion for sensitive skin (use it right after having your bath or shower to help lock the moisture in). It could also be a combination of both.

I suggest getting off your butt and stepping away from the computer for a while. The symptoms are typical of a frequent internet user and should subside after a few hours of doing something else.....and if you are going to scratch your butt alot, please be sure to wash your hands!
