well my only reason for going to Hawaii would be the beaches (and I think most people would say that was their reason for going there), but I would definitely choose Europe because you can do so much more there including going to the beach because plenty of places in Europe have gorgeous beaches. I have been to France and it was absolutely fabulous. The different cultures in Europe are so interesting and you can experience many different ones and travel to many different places easily once you are over there, whereas in Hawaii you are pretty much stuck to one sort of culture.

I have been to many states in Europe, and in Hawaii as well. Those are both equally costly trips. I was also on a cruise to Bahamas this winter. No more cruises for me. So,
If you just want to lay on the beach with all the women around you wearing bra's, nice nature, but mediocre food, then Hawaii. If you want to see some beautiful women at the beach without bra's, some beautiful architecture, very beautiful nature, some GOOOOOD food, some really beautiful women, than Europe. I recommend Croatian coast (Dubrovnik). Croatia has been a well kept secret, because it has been a Communist country for 50 years, but there was one rule that made the difference: never make a factory by the sea. It is the clearest water that you will ever see in your life. Go Dubrovnik.com

How about a cruise to Europe? Just kidding. I actually like both. I think that Europe has a lot of historical elements and monument beauty, while Hawaii has more natural beauty.

I personally would take a cruise over just about any vacation. I love cruises, especially to visit some place for the first time. Let's say this is your first trip to Europe, it can be a little scary going on your own. But if you go on a cruise you have a little more guidence and they are there for you. Plus, if you have a tight budget, a cruise is a lot more luxurious. You will be treated like royalty on a cruise no matter how much you spend. If you go to Europe and have to stay in a hostel, it isn't very luxurious.

It really just depends what you are looking to do and what you want to do on your vacation. The biggest problem with a cruise is that you go to so many places, also the best thing about the cruise. But the problem is if you want to visit one place for your whole vacation and not move around, a cruise is not the way to go, you are very limited in time with each port.

Both are great, you can't go wrong!

Trip to Europe. If this is also a cruise, take one in the summer to Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. The sight will be awesome. This is on MY list of future cruses.

If this European cruise is in the winter, then do the MED, including Italy and Greece. That would be totally awesome.

Also, you might consider one of the late spring river cruises through Gernany, Hungary other other parts of Eastern Europe. These can be an exciting adventure with the safety of your home on board ship.

Hawaii has so many terrific restores and such. When you go, plan on a couple of days near Waikiki Beach in Honolulu; then a few days in Maui at kanapoli, then pick other locations. There are many things to do in Hawaii and you might find that a cruise to Hawaii is restrictive. Hawaii is totally American, so you should be free to walk around, shop and eat at the many local restaurants. A cruise is an ON THE GO sort of trip, where you can enjoy the safety of your home away from home. But that is not a security blanket that you need in Hawaii.

When you "Froloick" in foreign countries that do not speak English, you will always feel like you are back home when to return to your ship.

I would go to Europe
Reasons: I enjoy experiencing the richness of different cultures. Not that Hawaii does not have a culture, but in Europe, you can span several countries and experience a variety of languages, landscapes, food, and people. This really appeals to me. You can also see really nice beaches in Europe, too. Not like the tropical ones in Hawaii, though. The downside may be the cost (depending on where you go).

As far as a cruise to Hawaii, I'm not a fan of cruise ships because I like to be free in where I go, what I do, and see. If I wanted to do cruise-ship type activities I would go to a resort on land. The ship could certainly be fun, but it depends on your personality. I would take the cruise over Europe if I got a really great deal on it! Other pros of the Hawaii option: tropical beaches are really nice...if you get to go to ones that are not so developed and croweded. Look into where the cruise would take you---highly developed resort areas or do they include some secluded, more natural-looking beaches, as well? Again, this is my personal preference.

Europe.
Hawaii cruise ... that's like riding an island to an island. Hawaii is a tourist trap (lots of money) Small islands and you can see everything quickly. It is a beautiful place to go! Boats to other islands or take a flight to meet back up w/ cruise later.

Europe ... culture, culture, culture so much to see so little time.
So inexpensive depending where and what you do. Women know alot more about life there than what kind of car you drive and what you are wearing. There you have trains to take you to other countries.

Europe, hands down.

Europe!

There are just so many more options! Hawaii is just a little set of islands, and you'd have to stay with the cruise ship and all. But Europe is an entire continent! You'd be pretty much free to do whatever you want.

A trip to Europe because I already took a cruise to Hawaii. Oh, and by the way, it was fantastic!

A cruise to Hawaii, just because I've always wanted to go on a cruise to Hawaii. I've never had any interest in going to Europe, the thought just doesn't fascinate me in any way.

I would choose backpacking through EUROPE..Why? Because it's on my todo list for life. Hawaii on the other hand is just an island just like many other islands..nothing special but EUROPE includes surprises as well as the sun and the beach Hawaii would provide.
