Need and want are two different issues. Everyone only needs 1 pair but having a pair for different occasions like school, everyday, church, etc is good.
My youngest daughter is 9 and has over 40 pairs of shoes because she loves them. My middle daughter has 4 because she would rather have books than a new pair of shoes. It all depends on what you like and of course what you and your parents can afford.

Probably like 5-7. 2-3 for everyday wear. 1-2 formal pairs, and 1-3 pairs of sandals. It just depends, because her feet are gonna grow some more, so keep the number kinda low. Otherwise, you'll be stuck with shoes she hardly ever wore. Depends on how active you daughter is. IF she does alot of sports, then she'd probably need more athletic shoes. It all depends on what she does. IF she's a couch potato, then maybe just 4 or 3, just depends on her, really.

It's all up to the parents budget and the need of the child. Hell some kids don't have but one pair. Plus she is 12 still a child.

2 pairs of sneaker/ 2 pairs of sandle/ 1 pair of slippers and some dress shoes that was what i had at age 12/ hope i helped

Three pair, first being gym shoes(sneakers),a pair of casuel shoes for school and a pair od dress shoes for church or other high end activities of high dress(black tie) affairs affiliated with family functions.Any more then that is wasteful and money wasted.

my friend has like 30 pairs of sneakers
but i think u should need at the most 15
