there's a girl in my school who started hanging out with me and my friends and none of us know her that well. she has no other friends that i know of and i feel bad telling her that we feel uncomfortable with her around. there's a lot of awkward silences and i want things to go back to the way they were before. any advice on how to solve this problem without hurting her feelings of making my friends angry?

Introduce her to someone else she could be friends with, who has more in common with her. Maybe encourage her to join some after school activities or whatever. Then slowly phase her out, like ugg boots or 3/4 pants.

1) Make sure everyone feels the same way.
2) Tell her how she makes you feel in a nice way.
3) Work it out and learn that many people operate differently in this world. Each person, whether weird or not, can offer you new perspectives and opportunities in the future.

I don't think that you should "get rid of her". It is extremely obvious that she likes you and your friends and is lonely. Instead of ditching her, make a serious effort to get to know her. Even if you decide after a while that you really have nothing in common and can't be friends, at least you would have tried. What you just asked is shallow and mean. You should feel honored that she wants to be friends with you.

Why don't you try talking to her and finding some thing out about her, you might like her once you get to know her, just give her a chance! Treat others the way you want to be treated!

Maybe you could try to get to know her better. I really don't know of any way to "get rid of her" with out you ending up hurting her feelings no matter how nice you are about it.

without hurting her feelings....no, what you can do is find someone who is good friends with her, talk s**t about her to them and the problem will be gone in a matter of a day or two

Why do you need to get rid of her? She sounds like she just wants to be your friend. Get to know her. Give her a chance for pete sake. You'll be glad you did. Be nice.
