Uhm, I gotta say, if you don't like a sport, that's ok, now, if you HATE it...that means that you are frustrated that everybody is enjoying an event and you feel you are not getting something that everybody else is enjoying...

Are you guys kidding? The world cup is more than just a dumb soccer tournament. It's a statement of international competition and supremacy, as well as brotherhood and comradery. To really understand it, you'd have to go there to fully understand, which I haven't even done. The world cup is a huge deal in other places outside of the U.S. Heck, the Ivory Coast put a temporary truce to a Civil War to watch their team play! It's more than a soccer tournament, it unites nations.
