experience, a sense of fulfillment, pride. if i didnt have a job i would volunteer some, travel, and basically do wahtever i wanted. however, i think we would get bored and run out of things to do! i want to work- i want to feel useful and have a purpose in this world. so it wouldnt work out for me.

From work you get friendship, and sometimes a little romance.

I work as a hobby, if you don't love what you do, don't do it. Find something your passionate about you could drop dead tomorrow.
