I recently bought a bunch of casual slacks that fit me perfectly. Should I bring them to the cleaners? Have them dry cleaned? Is there a way to wash them myself but not have them shrink? If I clean them myself, I would want to throw them into the dryer after washing.

Wash them in cold water. Dry them on medium heat. Should be good to go.

Be aware that dry cleaners force HOT air thru the fabric and that could shrink them. Really, wash in cold and hang from the hems to dry. It's a pain, but they will look nicer longer, too.

Wash them in cold water on the shortest time on the gentle cycle. Then put them in the dryer for the shortest time possible on the gentle cycle. I wouldn't have them dry cleaned unless the label specifies it. Drycleaning can actually harm some fabrics.

If you wash them yourself, use cold water, gentle cycle, and sorry, but you have to hang them dry. Your only other option is dry cleaning.

If you wash them yourself, I suggest washing them in cold water. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER!!!!!!!!!!. When they finish washing, hang them up.
