Example cosplays that I'm planning that require armor:
Gourry Gabriev (from The Slayers)
Lord Il Palazzo (from Excel Saga)
Lord Robes (from Kiba)

I would like to know the best materials, and easiest ways to do it.

Easy you take cardboard and paint it silver and shades of gray. Don't forget to make stuff move for the joints (your knees and stuff).

If you have some skill you can make it out of sheet metal. If you don't, cardboard works. Cover it in tin foil or spray paint it.

Hello fellow cosplayer, i usually use cardboard lol. Or thick pieces of paper (similar to folder paper) from craft stores, they usually sell large sheets of it, so you can cut which ever way you want.
