my left breast started to hurt above my nipple for no reason. i thought @ first it was because i was going to start my period but that has come and gone and it still hurts. i have examined myself standing up/laying down/in front of a mirror and i find nothing. i'm starting to worry because it has been 7 days now. it's a constant ache that reminds me that it is there constantly. any ideas?

My wife says that it could be a lot of different things. Working out or just picking something up can cause certain muscles to hurt, sometimes for days. Depending on your age, some woman get soreness when tissue becomes more fibrous. Also, a small cyst can cause pain and not always be felt with your hands. If it has been 7 days and you are getting more anxious about it, the best thing to do would be to see your doctor.

Yes, but only the obvious. GET TO A DOCS!!
It's possibly/probably ok but it's obviously worrying you. They would rather put you at ease on a false alarm than to deal with a bigger potential problem later.

Asking questions like this here will only give you more scary answers most of which will be by morons.

Could be an infection, is it tender to the touch? Go to the docs and get it checked out.
