A good carnival/fair (cotton candy, chicken roasting, fries, etc) and the smell of morning dew being rapidly evaporated by the rising sun. That smell has always reminded me of the beginning of summer in childhood (no more school, and the summer was a lifetime long), then there is fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven...reminds me of mom making cookies and Christmastime...turkey roasting as well...the fresh pine of a real Christmas tree...a certain perfume...the smell of school the first day back.
