I noticed when she goes to a commercial and comes back, the kitchen is organized and her onions are cooked and the water is boiling. I also saw that she uses a lot of sliced and prepared meats. Expensive stuff that I can't afford. I usually cut and chop everything myself. While I am on the subject of Rachel, why does she try to grab everything in one load instead of making several trips? The cabinet isn't that far away.

Yes, it's easier to do when you start before the filming begins. It's always faster when you have a staff to shop and prep for you. Fresh herbs are great but they don't keep in the fridge that long so the cost is astronomical!! Let's get real. Even James Beard used dried herbs and spices. I give her credit for coming so far in life and she is cute but she is on TV so much I'm getting sick I can't even watch the food channel anlymore. Why don't they change the name to the RAchel Ray network. I tried one of her ideas. It wasn't very good.

Hell no, it must take her lke an hour to make the meal. And you are so right, she comes back from the break and everything is clean and thing are chopped and half cooked, you can't do that in a 4 minute break.

Yes! because it comes on at 6:00 and ends at 6:30 and by 6:30 the meal is over!and it's done at 30 min or less.

She has everything pre-washed an at her finger tips. If you get out all the ingredients and bowls first you could probably do some of them in 30 minutes after your prep. There have been many shows where she is rushed and bareoly finishes-I thinkj she is bull-so clearly the most annoying person on tv!

I guess that's how she does it in thirty minutes. Grab it all at once, mix it, stir it, boil it, bake it, voila! Minchia! I'd like to have her on a platter!

i say yes but my wife disagrees.i have bought her two of rachel's books and she cannot do it in 30 mins and she can cook!
