If anyone gets close enough to see if a crocodile can cry, they would be more worried about getting away.
I know I would, because if I did something to make a crocodile cry I'd be running like h3ll before I'm eaten.

All what I know, when we say about a person, he, she is crying like a crocodile, it means acting, fake tears, playing with people's feelings.
