Men soccer officials are used in Women soccer games. The same rules apply to all soccer games be it men, women or a junior league.

I'm not sure of the exact reasoning behind this, but I would say it is because more male referees (and linesmen) have experience at the highest levels of football (Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A etc) than female. As far as I'm aware, there are no female officials in the top leagues in the world, therefore FIFA have chosen the best of the officials from these leagues, which are in all probabliltiy, male. However, I think it would be very interesting to have a female referee at a top class international game, just to see how she would handle a game in camparison to a male.

Female referees at the international level have the option of taking a slightly less strict version of the fitness test to get or maintain their international referee/assistant referee licenses.
However, the international license of such officials is restricted to officiating women's games only.
Female referees do have the option of taking the same fitness tests as is required of male referees. If they pass, they are issued un-restricted international licenses allowing them to work both mens and womens games.
I do not know how many female referees hold a restricted or un-restricted license.

Well that's a really good question.Frankly it never crossed my mind but I guess the answer is quite simple.This is the mens edition of the world cup.I'm sure women referees are used for the womens edition of the world cup.

Because women are emotional ;)
We would see 10 red cards, especially given how players are always up against the refs faces all the time and cussing and doing all those gestures.
Joking aside, it is because it is a men's football.
